ATOM RPG is an indie post-apocalyptic game that takes inspiration from classic CRPGs like Fallout, System Shock, and Baldur's Gate. The game is set in a world where both the Soviet Union and the Western Bloc were destroyed in mutual nuclear bombings inYou play as one of the survivors of the nuclear Holocaust and your mission is to explore the Soviet Wasteland.
The game offers a powerful character creation tool that allows you to create the hero you want to portray. The game also features a balanced roleplaying system inspired by GURPS and many skills like lockpicking and gambling. With many hours of gameplay on different locations, you can meet other survivors in a new settlement, explore the wilds, work out the secrets of an old military bunker, or simply lose yourself fishing at a scenic pond. The turn-based combat system is inspired by Fallout 1 and 2.
ATOM RPG also features random encounters with the dwellers of the Soviet Wasteland, both friendly and dangerous. The game offers many deep, multiple-choice dialogues that feel like real conversations with unique NPCs. With nonlinear gameplay, the game offers dozens of quests, each with many alternative solutions. Play the game like you want to and investigate a shadowy conspiracy aimed at destroying all that is left of life on Earth.
